Water Treatment

Clean, safe water for your family and community

Borehole and surface water often contains high levels of iron, manganese, fluoride, or bacteria that make it unsafe or unpleasant to drink. Proper treatment turns raw water into clean, safe water that meets Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) requirements.

How It Works

1

Water Testing

We collect samples and test for physical, chemical, and microbiological parameters at an accredited lab to determine what treatment is needed.

2

System Design

Based on test results and your daily demand, we design a treatment system, from simple sediment filters to full reverse osmosis, UV sterilization, or defluoridation.

3

Installation & Monitoring

We install the treatment equipment, train your staff on operation, and provide ongoing water quality monitoring to ensure consistent results.

Pricing Guidance

Basic filtration from KES 25,000. UV sterilization systems from KES 45,000. Full RO systems from KES 150,000. Commercial/institutional systems quoted individually.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my borehole water safe to drink?
Not necessarily. Many boreholes in Kenya have elevated iron, fluoride, or bacterial contamination. We always recommend testing before drinking borehole water.
What does water testing cost?
A basic chemical and physical analysis costs KES 3,000-5,000. Full testing including microbiological parameters costs KES 8,000-12,000.
How do I know if I need treatment?
Signs include discolored water, metallic taste, staining on fixtures, or stomach issues. But many contaminants are invisible. Testing is the only reliable way to know.
How often should I replace filters?
Sediment filters typically need replacement every 3-6 months. Carbon filters every 6-12 months. RO membranes last 2-3 years. We include a maintenance schedule with every installation.
Can you treat water for a whole community?
Yes. We design and install community-scale treatment systems for schools, hospitals, and water kiosks. These systems can treat 1,000-10,000 litres per day.
